A deposit is required to reserve a hunt. Contract payment dates are adjusted to the hunt date and how far in advance the trip is booked. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The remaining hunt balance is typically due at least 60 days before arrival unless the signed contract states otherwise.
Trip insurance is strongly recommended because deposits and other travel expenses can be non-refundable.
Airport pickup is scheduled at Missoula International Airport the day before the hunt. Plan flights around the confirmed pickup window and allow roughly 1.5 hours between Missoula and the lodge.
Hunters driving to camp should confirm arrival and departure times before travel so the lodge and guide team can plan around the hunt schedule.
Most hunts are scheduled two clients to one guide unless a one-on-one hunt is arranged. Confirm the ratio and any upgrade cost before booking.
Exact transfer fees, pickup windows and contract payment dates can change. Confirm them with Cody's team before buying flights or sending payment.
After the Harvest
The team field dresses harvested animals and can deliver them to local meat processors. Freezer space is available for meat and capes.
Processed meat can be expensive to ship quickly. Many driving clients transport meat home themselves; local processors can explain timing and shipping options.
Antlers and capes can be delivered to a taxidermist by arrangement. Confirm current taxidermy, delivery and storage costs before the hunt.
A 15%–20% guide tip is the customary range listed for the operation. Hunters should also plan gratuities for cooks and packers when applicable.
MOGA
HuntWithCody is connected with Montana's professional outfitter community. A nonresident MOGA client fee may apply; confirm the current amount with the team when booking.
Travel Protection
Travel and medical coverage can protect deposits and travel costs if an unexpected event interrupts the trip. Choose the insurer and policy that fits your needs.
Choose a Monday-Saturday hunt week, see the remaining spots, enter your party, then continue to the deposit step.
