Mountain trail rides for groups of at least two, including hourly rides, all-day rides and fishing/trail-ride combinations.
Hike or ride into mountain lakes with lunch/drinks on day trips or meals and lodging on multi-day trips.
Guided float trips on the Clark Fork River and Flathead River.
Walk-and-wade options on the Clark Fork, Flathead, Thompson and Bull Rivers.
A broad Western Montana river fished from the Saint Regis area toward the Idaho border, with trout as well as bass and pike opportunities.
Scenic green water with a mix of cutthroat, rainbow trout, bass and pike opportunities.
A clear, scenic river running from the Thompson Lakes toward the Clark Fork, with rainbow trout, whitefish, brook trout and cutthroat.

Summer trips can be built around a single activity or combined into a custom stay based from Plains.
Guided half-day and full-day float trips are offered on the Clark Fork and Flathead Rivers. A float day can be combined with lodging or other summer activities.
Choose mountain-lake fishing, river fishing, walk-and-wade days or a multi-day fishing package. Cody can customize the mix around the group.
Custom summer packages can include horseback trail rides and a cattle-drive day along with other Montana activities.
The summer program can host weddings, corporate events, family gatherings, retreats and reunions. Ask Cody about the group size and setup that fits the Plains property.
Custom Trips
A custom summer vacation can combine lodging with walk-and-wade fishing, float trips, mountain-lake fishing, horseback trail rides and a cattle drive. Six-night / five-activity packages can be customized around the group.
Use the Plains lodge as a hub for Western Montana. Day-trip options in the surrounding region include Glacier National Park, the National Bison Range, Ross Creek Cedars and Kootenai Falls.
Summer trips use a non-refundable deposit structure. The currently listed terms call for 25% at booking, another 25% 90 days after booking, and the remaining balance 60 days before arrival. The signed contract controls the final schedule.
